I am writing to say how successful our recent Play in a day workshop was. We chose the e-safety play as it fit in with current work going on in school. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day while learning vital e-safety information. This is active learning at its best and the perfect medium for this topic. The children loved performing the play for the other classes and their parents - who were also very impressed. Please pass on our thanks to the workshop leader, who was professional and motivational. We will definitely be booking you again in the future.

The children enjoyed using their own ideas to develop a play about the Olympics. They worked together to produce a humorous play which incorporated taught knowledge about the Olympic Games and its origins. I would recommend Konflux Theatre to other schools. It’s a brilliant experience for the children to develop their speaking and listening skills and the context of the plays also provide an educational element linked to objectives in the curriculum.

The Workshop Leader worked really hard all day with the children. He was enthusiastic and engaging and used the children’s natural ability well to create the play. The way that he brought it all together so that the final performance was quite spectacular was outstanding. The children really excelled themselves in the final performance. The audience were totally engaged and loved the jokes and comedy acting moments. Some of the younger reception-aged children spontaneously gave the cast a standing ovation at the end which showed how amazing the final performance was. The children really enjoyed the whole experience which was linked to our pirate story theme for World Book Day. ‘Treasure Island’ was definitely the highlight of the week. Konflux kept in touch well before the workshops and even called on the day to check that everything was going well. It was a bit of a risk booking with a new company but I would thoroughly recommend the ‘Play in a Day’ as a wonderful experience and good value for money.
