With the summer approaching, we know it’s coming up to a huge time in Year 6 pupils’ lives – making the transition to Secondary School! Here in the office, we’ve been reminiscing over our own moves to Secondary School and trying to think of any advice we could pass on!
As you may know, it is Healthy Eating Week this week (Monday 12th – Friday 16th June 2017) so it is a great opportunity for us all to get thinking about keeping fit and eating healthily just in time for the holidays.
Now we have entered May, we are looking at one of the year’s biggest theme weeks – Mental Health Awareness Week. Thanks to some recent help from the Royals, mental health is one of the most talked about topics in the media today. But how does it relate to us and what we do?
For many students across the UK exams are just around the corner. Whether it’s your SATs, GCSE’s or even A Levels, it can be an extremely stressful time! It may feel like your whole future depends on what grades you get and although they’re important, you must remember they’re not the only thing to rely on for a successful future. To help you out, we have come up with some useful tips to bear in mind whilst revising.
And just like that… It’s April! Spring is officially here. The blossom is out and thanks to the clocks springing forward our evenings are so much brighter. The Easter holidays are always a good time to refresh and get back into the habit of spending more time outside. Scientists have even proven that Vitamin D from the Sun can help prevent colds and flu!
