Initially, the workshop was not planned for my class and I was concerned that the content would not be suitable. However, Clem arrived and he had the whole class totally involved in the first few minutes. When the children started learning the words and actions for the play, it was good to see the confidence levels rising and the whole class were committed. They supported each other throughout the day. They enjoyed performing their play in front of several classes and received loud applause for their effort. It was a long but rewarding day. A big 'thank you' to Clem who related well to all the children and he never lost his sense of humour throughout the day!

The children thoroughly enjoyed their drama day and surprised themselves that they remembered lines and had the confidence to perform. The drama workshops and scripts were pitched perfectly for the children and they had a brilliant day! It was great that they were able to perform to the school and their parents and they learnt lots more about the Olympics.

The children learnt to use and apply new skills associated with drama and to work co-operatively with children they do not normally work with to produce an end product that they shared with their peers. We felt that it went a long way to raising the children's self-esteem and made them realise the importance of being an active listener. We were very impressed with the information that was supplied prior to our booking the work shop and how flexible the company was in meeting the needs of our school. Our instructor was able to identify the children who needed TLC and those who would be prepared to take on a more challenging role in the production as well as those who needed challenging to raise their self-esteem. She managed to engage with all the children and ensured all the children were active participants in the play.
