Spring/Summer 2018 – What’s on?

We have made a lot of changes at Konflux Theatre over the last few months. We’ve welcomed two new members of staff, become a registered Arts Award Centre and welcomed new organisations on board whilst also releasing several new workshops! Lastly, Konflux Theatre is going on the road! We will be attending several conferences and events throughout the year and look forward to hopefully meeting some of you there.

Laura and Emily joined us before Christmas and have been very busy getting to know their schools. Emily is also our designated Arts Award Advisor. She has recently been meeting with lots of exciting organisations to find out how we can help provide Arts Award to more schools around the country. For more details about how your school can get involved with Arts Award, please follow this link to the page on our website or give Emily a call or email emily@konfluxtheatre.co.uk.

Laura coordinates all our tours in Scotland, the South West and East Anglia. If you would like more information on how to get involved in one of our tours or would like to hear about available dates, please feel free to contact Laura (laura@konfluxtheatre.co.uk)

With Shakespeare Week coming up in March (12th-16th March 2018), we have released our brand new Key Stage 2 Creative Learning Workshop, ‘All the World’s a Stage – An Introduction to Shakespeare’. This workshop is suitable for 60 pupils (2 classes) and is a fantastic way to give your pupils a first glimpse at some of Shakespeare’s most notable characters. Want to find out more? Check it out! This would make a fun way to kick start your celebrations of the Bard or maybe even a special treat for World Book Day (Thursday 1st March 2018)!

Have a specific topic coming up that would make a great Play in a Day®? We would love to hear from you! We always love hearing feedback from schools and strive to always be forward thinking in terms of new workshops for you. We have a few exciting projects in the pipeline already - keep an eye out for more news later this year!

If you have any questions about how to get involved in Shakespeare Week or World Book Day, why not give us a call today on 01937 832 740?
We can’t wait to hear from you!
