Schools out for Summer!

Can you believe how quickly summer has come?!

We at Konflux Theatre have been very busy developing lots of exciting new projects for our schools for the new year we thought what better way to round off this term than giving you a sneak peek!

Firstly, we have listened to the feedback you have given us and opened up our Creative Learning Workshops to Key Stage 2 pupils – they can now experience our fast paced, activity based workshops on a number of topics including Anti-Bullying which is available to book now ready for Anti-Bullying Week this November! (12th-16th November 2018)

We are already looking forward to a busy Autumn term. In November, we will also be helping schools celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War 1. Our Play in a Day workshop, All the King’s Men and our Creative Learning Workshop, In Flanders Field are a great way to remind pupils the importance of remembrance and giving thanks to the brave forces who gave so much so that we can live the lives we do now.

We have also listened to the needs of our schools and have developed a brand new internet safety script, The Guardians of Moodle as we understand that technology is ever changing! This play is available to book for groups of KS2 pupils and is a great way to inform your pupils how to stay safe and knowledgeable when they’re online.

We would like to say a massive thank you to all our schools we have visited this year. It‘s been fantastic helping your pupils explore drama and grow in confidence and creativity. We will be in the office throughout the summer so if you have any questions or would like any further information, please feel free to give us a call on 01937 832 740.

Finally, we want to wish everyone a fantastic summer holiday and we’ll see you in September!
