Safer Internet 'Week' 2019
Safer Internet Day 2019 lasted the entire week this year! We saw lots of amazing ways to encourage pupils to talk about being safe online and we had some eye-opening workshops all over the UK where we encourage pupils to use drama to explore E-Safety.
Here’s just a snippet of this year’s Internet Safety Week
The week before Safer Internet Week we had a live twitter chat with Twinkl where we discussed how to teach Internet Safety in the classroom. We chatted about lots of simple and create ways to get children talking

Oaklands Primary had some awesome pictures of their KS2 taking part in our new Creative Learning Workshop “Caught in the Web” – this workshop was launched especially for 2019’s Safer Internet Week where we can work with up to 120 pupils in one day!
Mrs Mackrell from St Mary’s Catholic Primary School had this to say about their Play in a Day -
“We invited parents and all of KS2 to watch our play at the end of the school day, all of whom thought it was fantastic! My class absolutely loved the day. Chris was so fun, engaging and enthusiastic. He found a way to ensure that every child had the opportunity to be involved. I saw a side to some children that I’d never seen before and I am SO proud of what they accomplished in one day!”
