Easter Activities for the Classroom

Easter Activities for the classroom

It’s nearly the Easter Holidays!! Although the children might be off school when the Easter Bunny visits, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring some Easter themed fun in to the classroom! So we have created a blog with some fantastic activities you can use to Easter-up your classroom!

Egg and Spoon Race

It’s an oldie but a goodie, have an egg and spoon race! As the weather brightens up why not take things outside and have some good old fashioned competition. (Fake eggs can be used)

Easter Bingo

If your class love a good game of bingo, then why not switch it up with some Easter themed bingo cards. Can they match the chicks?

Dye Easter Eggs!

Why not create some culinary science and dye eggs an assortment of fun colours! You can display them, hide them or even eat them!

Paper Plate Easter Bunny

If you fancy something crafty, why not get out the paper plates, pipe cleaners and pom poms and create your own Easter Bunny! You can draw on eyes or use googly eyes and don’t forget to create some ears to stick to the top!

Salt Dough Easter Egg

Salt Dough is a wonderful tool for any classroom; you can create so many things with it! And that includes some fantastic Easter Eggs. After creating your salt dough mix, the children can mould them in to egg shapes, leave them to harden (or bake them) and then decorate them to design their very own Easter Egg!

I hope these activities bring some fun in to your classroom this Easter!! Don’t forget to check out more of our blogs for even more classroom inspiration.
