In Flanders Fields (WW1) KS1 & KS2

In Flanders Field is a Creative Learning Workshop available for KS1 and/or KS2 for up to 4 groups of 30 pupils for 1 hour each - up to 120 pupils in one day.  

Take a trip through Flanders Fields! Commemorate the First World War Centenary. “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them”

What the Children Learn:
•An overview of life in WW1 (poetry, victory, soldiers, remembrance, trenches and sounds)
•Exploring how they can use their voice, movement and expression in drama
•Expressing ideas, thoughts and feelings through kinaesthetic learning
•Presenting WW1 drama and images in groups
•Individual confidence
•Basic acting skills
•Teamwork and Awareness of others
•Public speaking

In Flanders Field has been adapted for the higher Key Stage. You can mix & match between KS1 and KS2.
