In Flanders Fields (WW1) KS1

Take a trip through Flanders Fields! Commemorate the First World War Centenary. “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them”

What the Children Learn…
•An overview of life in WW1 (poetry, victory, soldiers, evacuees, remembrance, trenches and sounds)
•Exploring how they can use their voice, movement and expression in drama.
•Expressing ideas, thoughts and feelings through kinaesthetic learning
•Presenting WW1 drama and images in groups
•Individual confidence
•Basic acting skills
•Teamwork and Awareness of Others
•Public speaking

Our Creative Learning projects are a perfect platform for kick-starting a topic and unlocking imagination in order to follow up work in the classroom such as story making and creative writing.

KS1 Creative learning day is a full day event comprising four 1 hour workshops working with 30 pupils per hour - that's 120 pupils a day!
