This Play in a Day is all about your city! It is a great way to explore your local culture and heritage and encourage discussions about local history and careers.

Being British. Being Great!

Being British. Being Great! is a British Values KS1 Creative Learning workshop for up to 4 groups of 35 pupils for 1 hour each - up to 140 pupils in one day.  ​

What does it mean to be British?

Trips to the seaside? Fish and chips? Cups of tea? Or could it be more about how we try to respect and look after each other? This hour long KS1 workshop introduces children to the four main British values in a fun, accessible and playful way!

The Big Shang

This Play in a Day about the China Dynasty is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day. 

Looking at the amazing story of China's oldest civilisation. Six hundred years of history in a short performance, and even some Oracle Bones thrown in!

Lean On Me! (Friendship)

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 & 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

There's trouble in the playground! Miss Jones' class are arguing all the time and calling each other names. They seem to have forgotten what friendship is all about. Luckily, help is at hand!

One Hull of a Place

One Hull of a Day was created for the Hull City of Culture 2017!  This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

Situated on the northern bank of the Humber estuary, the city of Hull has been awarded the prestigious title of UK City of Culture 2017...

The Konflux Nativity!

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS1 and/or KS2 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

And so, with a splendid new star above, the little stable was filled with a joy and happiness that has been celebrated ever since.

The Konflux nativity Play in a Day shares the classic Christian story of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Stories from Major Religions (Destiny & Forgiveness)

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

Students learn about the importance of Destiny & Forgiveness from Buddah through looking at similarities between Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and Christianity. An interpretation of a Buddhist fable demonstrating changing destiny through your actions.
