Once Upon a Fairy Tale

This KS1 Creative Learning Workshop is available for up to 4 groups of 35 pupils for 1 hour each-up to 140 pupils in one day.                                                                        

Welcome to the world of Magic Story+... a brand new (imaginary) app that has all the best traditional tales ever told! BUT there's a difference- with Magic Story+ you don't just watch the story, you can actually join in!

Roald Dahl

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.       

In order to celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday in 2016 we developed a Play in a Day that looks at Roald’s life, the wonderful stories he created and the messages that each story shares. Along the way you will meet some of the wonderful characters he created!    

Mabinogion

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

The following workshop is available in English, Welsh or Bilingual.

If Wales is a Dragon, then the Mabinogi is the fire in its belly! Join us on our trip through the Mabinogi as we retell the first two myths from this collection.

The Wacky World of David Walliams

This KS2 Creative Learning workshop is available for up to 4 groups of 35 pupils for 1 hour each - up to 140 pupils in one day.                       

“Welcome to the wonderfully Wacky World of David Walliams! A world where teenagers become billionaires, granny’s can be gangsters and young people are free to be whoever they wish to be!"                                                                                    

A Christmas Carol

This Creative Learning Workshop is available for up to 4 groups of 35 pupils, for 1 hour each - that’s up to 140 pupils a day! This workshop can be adapted for both KS1 and KS2.

It's Christmas Eve and everybody's having fun! Everybody except one man... Ebenezer Scrooge, the most miserly old skinflint there ever was! Scrooge thinks Christmas is all about money and being mean... and now time is running out! If Scrooge doesn't learn the error of his ways by the last stroke of twelve, Christmas will be ruined once and for all!

All The World's A Stage! (Shakespeare)

All the World's a Stage is a brand new project!

It is designed to introduce pupils to Shakespeare at an accessible level. This Creative Learning project is for 2 classes of 35 KS2 or KS3 pupils, a maximum of 70 pupils. Each class would spend up to 2 hours with one of our facilitators.                                     

Much Ado About Nothing

Shakespeare's wonderful comedy of mischief, mayhem and love is now available as a Play in a Day. This new version, especially created for 35 KS2 students, is a perfect introduction to the world of Shakespeare. The students will work together as actors to create a fun, action-packed short performance.

Story Journeys: Roald Dahl

This KS1 Creative Learning workshop is available for up to 4 groups of 35 pupils for 1 hour each - up to 120 pupils in one day.                                 

Similar to our original Story Journeys, your pupils will take a trip and meet a whole host of colourful Roald Dahl characters with problems to solve and stories to tell! Our Creative Learning workshops provide younger children with creative stimulus to stretch their imaginations and physically engage them with story-making. 

The Voyage of Bran

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

The Voyage of Bran is the most famous of all the ancient Irish voyage myths, a tale passed from one generation to the next by word of mouth.

Treasure Island

This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

Fifteen men on the dead man’s chest! Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum!
